I teach Composition at the USC Thornton School of Music. Check out the USC Composer datebook for lectures and concerts happening in our department.

I also direct the Composition Workshop at the Sunset ChamberFest music festival in Los Angeles, a summer composition program for young composers ages 13-20.

I offer PRIVATE LESSONS in composition and orchestration outside of USC both in person and via Skype/FaceTime. My students range in age from pre-college-aged to adult music professionals working in classical, film, pop, and rock music. My private students have been accepted to many top universities for undergraduate and graduate study (Harvard, Stanford, Oberlin, USC, UC Berkeley, UT Austin, CalArts, the New England Conservatory, UC Irvine, and UCLA).
